Solarium

The nicely finished body of the solarium has a standard dark green coating (RAL6009). As in the case of all KYLIX solariums, the reflective surface is cream white (RAL 9001) in order to improve reflection of the generated heat.
The front of the KY16ML includes a cutaway, so that the horse can move freely under the solarium.
The entire solarium is fitted with rounded curbs, thereby minimising the risk of injury to the horse.
The lights in the solarium are built in and are located in positions that ensure that horse absorbs the heat into the right muscle groups.

The KY16ML is made of fibreglass reinforced polyester and is finished with a coating that is resistant to high temperatures of up to 90°C.
All sides of the solarium are rounded off. The solarium comprises two sections and is fitted as standard with suspension points.
The 4 standard, built-in dryers are switched on automatically when the temperature of the solarium reaches 30°C.
The lamps are built into the solarium and are of two different strengths. They are positioned such that the heat being conveyed reaches the right muscle groups of the horse.
The infrared heat generated also ensures that your horse dries more quickly after working or being washed down. This means there is less chance of the horse catching a cold and it also gives a nice sheen to the horse’s coat.
